Esophageal Acid Reflux

Acid reflux, commonly known as heartburn, which occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter fails to close properly. This allows stomach contents such as acids, bile and food to enter into the lower esophageal region, especially after the meals. Heartburn is one of the common affect of acid reflux. When this condition become long-standing, it may leads to inflammation and ulceration of the esophagus or esophageal cancer. There are some important symptoms of esophageal cancer that are heartburn, difficult swallowing, food being stuck in esophagus, weight loss and vomiting of blood. If people will not do the proper treatment for this, the tumor will eventually block the esophagus, so no food or liquid can pass into the stomach. And this can also affect the other organ of the body. So, to avoid this hazardous and painful condition people should keep proper care of their diets and make an effective food plan.

People may think of having cancer with acid reflux attack but it is true that they can suffer with esophageal cancer from continuous attack of acid reflux.
