Acid Reflux In Children

1. Prevent their children from overfeeding. Because in children and infant the digestive system is not so developed that it can digest the food as comparison to adults. And it is also recommended by the doctors.

2. Parents should avoid giving heavy meals. Food for the children should be light and hygiene. And also it should not be sporadic, keep the difference around 3 to 4 hours in each diet.

3. It is normally observed that children tend to sleep on their stomach. This puts strain on the stomach and enhance the chance of acid reflux. Hence, try to make them sleep in a right position.

4. Avoid giving much soft drinks and chocolates. Because it creates gas in the stomach, and it may lead to acid reflux attack.

5. Avoid dressing in tight clothes. Always refer loose and comfortable clothes while sleeping, so that children should feel relaxed while sleep.

6. Do not give coffee and tea. Infact higher amount of milk can also cause acid reflux.

CONCLUSION: Acid reflux attack is common in children. The spitting up and throwing up of foods particles is a common thing that every mother must be accustomed to. Attack of acid reflux in children may cause serious damages in children. So, every mother should look properly towards their children's diets and actives to keep off their children with acid reflux attack. And it is not very tuff to do.
